The Chirana AURA V is a highly advanced critical care ventilation platform that offers the ultimate patient and ventilation type flexibility. The AURA V is designed for a wide range of patients including adult, pediatric and neonatal. With its wide range of standard and innovative ventilation modes, the AURA V has become the ventilator of choice for clinicians around the world. The AURA V ’s ventilation modes give priority to the efforts of patients with the goal of reducing breath work of breathing. With its highly advanced modes of ventilation, particularly the proprietary PMLV, it is well suited to treat patients suffering from conditions that result in severe ARDS. Its 3 level alarm system alerts clinicians to situations requiring intervention and provides peace of mind in busy treatment settings. The AURA V also offers extensive gas analysis capabilities, including indirect calorimetry, Volumetric CO2, and End tidal CO2. The AURA V includes battery backup for up to 4 hours at nominal settings, a 21” color touch screen which includes a user friendly, intuitive user interface, and graphic display of curves, loops, and trends. It has built in pneumatic nebulization, but also has a modular Ultrasonic as an option. The Auto Start feature may reduce the time it takes to begin ventilation on a new patient and the automatic ET tube resistance compensation allows the patient to breath while automatically compensating for gases being delivered through an artificial airway. Optional air compressor can be integrated into the ventilator cart.
