General description:

Viessmann walk-in type cold room, split type, 30m3 for storage of
vaccines at national and sub-national levels.

Technical specifications:

Prefabricated Cold room, walk-in, split type, supplied with all
necessary mechanical and electrical fittings and equipment for quick and
easy installation in the field.

The unit is designed to operate from a mains supply of 220/380 Volt
three phase and 50 Hz with a dual refrigeration unit, each refrigeration
unit is sized to give 100% stand-by capacity designed to operate at +2°C
- +8°C in a maximum ambient of 43°C.

With overcurrent / overvoltage protection by surge suppressor, automatic
circuit breaker and ELCB in control box. Phase reversal protection and
compressor with winding protection switch.

The complete unit is also designed for installation in a housed area
such as a warehouse in order to meet temperature design standards.

Refrigeration unit:

-uses CFC-free refrigerant gas R134.

-has an adjustable automatic duty switchover system designed to ensure
even wear on the refrigeration units.

-control box is fitted with run-hour meters.

-has an electrical timer operated defrost system.

-with sealants for air tightening the cut outs between pipes and wall
panel.

-refrigeration system shall be complete with copper tubing, electrical
cabling and necessary fittings to cover a distance of 20 meters between
condensers and the evaporators.

The thermostat is calibrated to ITS-90 and accuracy is ± 0.1°C.

Panel Insulation:

CFC-free panels.

Insulation material: Polyurethane – hard foam with
cyclopentane/isopentane blend as per DIN 4102, classification as per B3.

with DIN EN 13165.

Wall and roof panel construction:

Constitution of wall and roof panels: Viessmann standard white powder
coating, sheet steel galvanized with Viessmann SmartProtec®

A pressure relief valve either on the roof or wall of the cold room.

Floor construction:

Floor panels have a stainless-steel surface, cone pressed and
length-wise polished. Joints are seamlessly underlapped.

Non-slip class R11 (accord. DIN 51130 standard).

Floor construction conforms to “Type A” loading requirements as per WHO
PQS:E001/CR-FR01.4.

Room is equipped with adjustable freestanding aluminum shelf with
perforated plastic inserts.

Lighting:

Room is equipped with high performance LED luminaires. Light switch with
pilot light seamless integrated in door frame.

The illumination level on the vertical face of the lowest shelves: 150
lux.

Alarm System:

A mains-operated audible and visible alarm (Thermomax) in the event of
mains failure or when room temperatures are outside set limits.

With battery backup and automatic recharge.

A data logger is integrated in alarm system. Data can be copied on USB
flash drive. No additional software required.

Temperature Monitoring System:

A vapour pressure thermometer, complying with PQS E006/TH02.

Spare Parts:

For two years of normal operation at the specified locations shall be
provided together with the WIC:

1-Evaporator fan for wall mounted type (1 each).

2-Condenser fan for wall mounted type (1 each).

3-Contactor and relay for wall mounted type (8 each).

Montreal Protocol.

The casing and/or the compressor body of each refrigeration unit will
carry a permanent label clearly identifying the refrigerant used in
letters not less than 10mm high.

Warranty:

To be covered by a 2 years warranty in the event of any component
failure arising from defective design, materials or workmanship.

Instructions:

Assembly, operation, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, maintenance
and repair manuals in English & French or Spanish shall be provided.
Upon request, instructions shall be in one of the UN languages most
appropriate to the installation site; Arabic, English, French, Mandarin
Chinese, Russian or Spanish.

Special requirement for compressor during the transportation:

Compressor is equipped with shock absorber to prevent them from
potential damage during transport.

general conditions Comply to WHO PQS E001/CR-FR01.4 and Product
verification protocol: E001/CR-FR01-VP1.4 and E001/CR-FR01-VP2.4
